Welcome to Ohio at Gettysburg
Ohio at Gettysburg provides brief capsule histories of the Ohio infantry, cavalry, and artillery units that fought in the three-day battle of Gettysburg, July 1-3, 1863. The website is organized by branch of service. Within each branch, you may open pop up windows that includes a summary of that particular unit's service as well as a photograph of their regimental marker or monument at Gettysburg if I have such a photo in my collection. Many of the photographs were taken by my good friend, Andy Ward and are used with his kind permission.
You may freely use the content on this site other than the photographs provided you simply include a link back to this site. The site's address is: www.ohio.goellnitz.org. I'd appreciate it if you'd let me know what you are using the content for, but its not necessary or required for you to do so.
Ohio at Gettysburg requires a CSS capable browser and a recommended browsing resolution of 1024x760. This site also uses non-advertising pop up windows for content delivery, so you may need to enable pop ups to enjoy this site (don't worry, Ohio at Gettysburg is advertising free).
